Affinia shortlisted at the 2026 Accounting Excellence Awards

These nominations recognise the progress we have made over the past year as we continue to build a purpose-led accountancy, audit, tax and advisory firm with growing national reach. 

The recognition also builds on our success at the 2025 Accounting Excellence Awards, where we were shortlisted for Employer of the Year, Audit Firm of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year. 

Growing with purpose

Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen our presence across the UK, bringing together talented people, specialist expertise and shared values to create a firm with growing national reach. 

While we continue to evolve and expand, our approach remains the same. We believe great relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Clients continue to be supported by people who know their businesses, understand their ambitions and are invested in their success. 

At the same time, they benefit from access to broader expertise, specialist services and a wider network of colleagues across the firm. 

It is this combination of local relationships and wider capability that makes Affinia distinctive. The strength of that approach is reflected in our long-term client relationships..  

A significant milestone 

Our nomination for Deal of the Year recognises the combination with UHY London and Nottingham, an important milestone in Affinia’s journey. 

Bringing together more than 350 colleagues, the combination strengthened our capabilities, expanded our reach and demonstrated the power of bringing together like-minded firms with a shared commitment to clients, people and culture.  

Most importantly, it showed that growth does not need to come at the expense of personal service or strong relationships. By combining expertise while maintaining continuity for clients and colleagues, we have continued to build a firm that is both larger in scale and stronger in delivery. 

The impact of this progress has also been reflected in a nine-place rise in the Accountancy Age Top 50+50 rankings, highlighting the momentum we continue to build.

Awards and recognition are important, but they are ultimately the result of the people behind them. 

These shortlistings reflect the hard work, commitment and ambition of colleagues across the firm. Every team, service line and office plays a role in delivering for clients, supporting one another and helping Affinia continue to grow.
