Group Financial Controller
Liam joined Affinia in Autumn 2023 as Finance Manager in the Colchester office, and in September 2025 was promoted to Group Financial Controller.
He began his career with a small sole trader accountancy firm before completing his studies at a Top 10 practice. From there, he transitioned from client-facing work into industry roles, gaining valuable experience across a range of organisations, including a large international veterinary group, one of the world’s largest insurance providers, and an electric vehicle start-up.
As part of the Internal Finance team, Liam is responsible for both internal and external reporting for the Group. He leads the external audit process and is a key point of contact for complex internal reporting queries. With a growing team, Liam is committed to developing talent, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
