Purchase Ledger Manager
Margarett started her journey in Finance over 13 years ago, and deeply enjoyed the nuances of the financial world. For Margarett, the more complex and complicated, the more fun! She enjoys brainstorming while investigating and solving problems.
Margarett joined Affinia at the beginning of 2025 and was promoted to Purchase Ledger Manager in 2026, where she oversees the Group’s suppliers’ payments in line with controllership timetables and Group reporting deadlines, as well as dealing with onboarding and integration of acquired businesses. She is also responsible for the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Purchase Ledger policies, procedures, and workflows; furthermore, she is in charge of financial controls, ensuring compliance with delegated authorities, audit requirements, tax/VAT rules, and fraud prevention standards.
Outside of work, Margarett is passionate about foreign languages; she speaks three fluently, and is currently learning another two. She loves spending time with her two kids, discovering foreign languages together. Margarett is also a book worm, enjoying mainly dystopian futuristic stories as well as psychological thrillers.
