Abbas Khabbaz

Associate Director

Abbas is an ACA qualified accountant who brings over eight years of experience in finance, primarily focusing on valuations, credit analysis and transaction advisory. Starting his career at a Top 4 firm, Abbas worked across Banking and Capital Markets and Wealth and Asset Management, concentrating on private equity and alternative investment clients. He later moved into Corporate Finance at Cardano where he was involved in M&A deals, debt refinancing and advising trustees on corporate financial strength. 

In June 2025, Abbas published his first book ‘Breaking into Finance: The Apprenticeship Route’ which focuses on every stage of the apprenticeship journey, from deciding if an apprenticeship is the right route for you to finding out what your career options are after qualifying. 

Outside of work Abbas spends his time training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he has been fortunate enough to win several national and European Championships.  He also enjoys playing football and travelling.
