Supporting our local communities this festive season

This festive season, we launched a firm-wide Christmas food bank drive to support our local communities. This initiative was introduced by our Orpington office, formerly Baxter & Co., who last year donated more than 500 items to Bromley Borough Foodbank. 

This year’s festive foodbank drive was bigger than ever, with all offices across London, East Anglia and South East England taking part. Each location ran a special raffle with a twist: instead of buying tickets, colleagues donated non-perishable food items and daily essentials – every item counted as an entry!  

Seeing everyone pull together for such an important cause was truly inspiring. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to deliver over 5,000 of essential items directly to local food banks, helping families and individuals during a time of heightened need. 

Our top three donating offices were Orpington, Leigh-on-Sea and Ipswich – contributing over 2,200 items between them alone! 

Spencer Clewley, Accounts Associate Director based in Orpington, said the response from staff had been overwhelmingly positive. 

“Food banks were under real pressure this winter, and even small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference to local families. As an employer rooted in our communities, we were keen to stand alongside the organisations supporting people day in, day out. It was fantastic to see colleagues across all our offices, including here in the South East, getting involved.”
