Introducing your Making Tax Digital champions

Becky joined us in 2021 and quickly became a key part of our accounts team, gaining hands-on experience across compliance, audit, VAT, management accounts, and personal tax. Her natural ability to solve problems and support clients led to her promotion in Spring 2025 to Cloud Accounting Assistant Manager. 

Now specialising in cloud-based accounting, Becky is focused on helping clients reduce admin, streamline processes, and feel confident in their digital systems. She’s currently working towards her ICAEW ACA qualification and brings both technical skill and a genuine enthusiasm for making tax easier.  

Sarah became part of the team in 2024 following the acquisition of Giess Wallis Crisp, bringing with her nearly eight years of experience and a strong background in bookkeeping and VAT. As a qualified AAT professional, she now manages a portfolio of clients, providing tailored support across bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns. 

Sarah is highly skilled in using platforms like Xero to help clients stay compliant and efficient. Her friendly, down-to-earth approach makes her a trusted adviser to those navigating the shift to digital.  

James plays a pivotal role within our Making Tax Digital champions, bringing a strong blend of technical expertise and client-focused support to our Cloud Accounting team.  

Originally starting his career in audit and accounts, James transitioned into our Cloud Accounting team to work more closely with clients across a range of industries. His focus includes delivering management accounts, VAT returns, and outsourced bookkeeping services, all powered by platforms like Xero and QuickBooks. 

James is passionate about helping clients streamline their financial processes and unlock the full potential of digital tools. He’s currently studying towards his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification and continues to expand his portfolio while deepening his expertise in cloud-based solutions.
