Our client was involved in a complicated transaction where the business was being acquired by a larger financial advisory firm with a number of other companies in a similar structure. This would then subsequently be sold as a consolidated group.
The client approached us to ask for our involvement to ensure the deal was structured in the right way from a tax planning perspective. Our involvement also included the review of the share purchase agreement and to liaise with the legal team again working towards a tight completion deadline.

The results

Our involvement saved the client c£60k and ensured the deal progressed as intended, with the need to prepare accounts quickly.
