Associate Director
Tom joined Affinia in the Autumn of 2025 as an Associate Director for our Payroll Service Line.
Before joining us, Tom held management positions at Azets and Zellis, alongside roles within a number of smaller independent accountancy firms.
Tom qualified with the CIPP in 2019 and, in recent roles, has focused primarily on process improvement and change management. He has led the redesign and optimisation of payroll processes, reducing inefficiencies, improving controls and materially lowering error rates, while ensuring changes are implemented in a practical and sustainable way for both clients and internal teams. Tom has worked with a wide range of clients – from those paying a single monthly employee through to organisations with workforces of more than 25,000 employees.
Tom prides himself on delivering a personal service to clients, recognising that every business is different and that successful payroll solutions must be tailored to reflect each organisation’s people, systems and ways of working.
In 2024, Tom started a family and his son, Arthur, now fills most of his free time. He is also undertaking his second home renovation and enjoys eating out with friends as often as he can.
