Martin started his tax career in 2013 at a local accountancy firm, where he successfully obtained his ATT qualification. Since qualifying, he has gained broad experience across both private client and corporate tax teams, working for a variety of firms and developing a strong technical foundation across the full spectrum of UK taxation.
Martin joined Affinia in April 2024 as a Property Tax Adviser before moving to the Private Client team in 2026. His background in both personal and corporate tax enables him to provide joined‑up, practical advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.
Prior to joining Affinia, Martin worked at a local firm of solicitors, gaining valuable insight into how legal and tax considerations interact in areas such as property transactions, estate planning and trust administration.
Outside of work Martin enjoys baking and walking his three dogs.
